PTÁCI ŽIJÍCÍ V PRALESECH

Tropické deštné pralesy poskytují útočiště mnoha druhům ptáků, např. papouškům, zoborožcům a tukanům. Žijí zde i draví ptáci jako jsou orli, jestřábi a supi.

Někteří stěhovaví ptáci žijí v pralesech v období zimy a na jaře a v létě odlétají zpět do chladnějších krajů. Například mnoho druhů zpěvných ptáků ze Spojených Států Amerických přezimuje ve Střední Americe nebo dokonce až v Amazónii.
